Showing off that Revlon Youth FX™ glow. I did not wake up like this.

One of the most thrilling moments of the summer was getting a message from Revlon with an invitation to partner in celebration of their new Youth FX™ collection. As you may imagine, I was totally amped up to partner with the renowned brand and the experience was the thrill I expected from the global behemoth. One of the highlights of the collaboration was the chance to sit in Sabrina Rinaldi's makeup chair and have my face pampered by her using Revlon Youth FX™ products. As she educated me on the line and application she explained that a new fill and blur technology found in the anti-aging foundation, concealer and primers were essentially acting as a magic eraser against signs of aging. Smooth finish, even pigmentation and brightening = major goals.

Because my skin tends to be lighter in the center and darker around the circumference, Sabrina used two shades - espresso and mocha (there are 12 shades of foundation and six of concealer) - to get a glowing highlighter effect that naturally looks more youthful. She also gave me a valuable takeaway tip that I've been using ever since: dampen sponge or brush to slightly dilute the product for an especially natural finish.

Not bad, but tired eyes and uneven skin tone aren't helping.

Why hello glowing skin - you even make my eyes look brighter.

Photography duo, Lily & Lilac snapped my before and after pic in the exact same setting and light and it's a clear contrast compared to how I looked pre-makeup. The glowing effects of the optical diffusers in the formula even made my eyes look brighter.

After the shoot, we had an amazing dinner - Miss Thing's is awesome, and we can chat about that later- but the point is that this look remained totally intact hours between application and getting home. It didn't feel cakey and I was really happy with the overall effect. So yeah, I embrace my age but I'm totally into keeping it a guessing game with help from Revlon Youth FX™.
