In Partnership with my Friends at Gain
After months of anticipation, our basement reno is finally complete!
When planning the basement redesign, an updated laundry room was one of my must haves – a space that was not only functional but a beautiful. While laundry doesn't generally score high on the entertainment list, it's one of those things that can't be avoided so why not make it as enjoyable as possible? For me that means, patterned tiles, a mix of warm materials with industrial finishes and products that are pleasing both to look at and to smell. (For more on the makeover, you can watch my segment with Annette Hamm on CHCH here.)
In serendipitous alignment, as my laundry room was finally completed, Gain launched Bontanique, a new two-scent collection of liquid detergent that totally coincides with my intention to transform the laundry room into a welcoming environment. 65% plant based, in soothing and uplifting scents like White Tea Lavender and Orange Blossom and Vanilla respectively, even the packaging is lovely – as though the bottle was designed to coordinate with my new space.
To introduce Botanique to shoppers, Gain set up a vibrant garden in the Eaton Centre where passersby could experience the scents and botanical inspiration behind the product. It is such a dose of cheery sunshine, I recommend a visit – if even only for the gorg Insta background!
Join me below on a virtual tour of the Gain Garden ( sadly technology hasn't yet allowed me to share the scents digitally with you – one day!)
Visit the Gain Botanique installation, at the Eaton Centre, until Sunday, October 29th.
