LITTLE CHOICES THAT CHANGE THE WORLD WITH HEDVIG ALEXANDER
with Hedvig Alexander
For our first episode of 2017, I sit with Hedvig Alexander, the founder of Far & Wide Collective. The concept behind this chic retailer is that they connect talented artists in post-conflict and emerging countries (think Afghanistan, India, Kenya, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan) and connect them with the North American market. It's an all around feel good strategy: local jobs are created, it seems a sustainable initiative and the pieces are beautiful, something that consumers will want to purchase independent of the charitable aspect. Here's a clip from the interview.
